Thank you - performance by the Nina Vian Collective

As part of the “Awards and Awardees” event, conceived by M. Concetta Petrollo Pagliarani, the Nina Vian Collective (Nicola Benigni, Irene Messia, Niccolò Muccio) presents a performance entitled “Thank You,” based on a text by Daniel Pennac

The Nina Vian collective tackles a text by Daniel Pennac, a little gem unknown to most whose title Thank You says it all. Pennac explains the theme of thanks and recognition through an archetypal character who receives an equally symbolic award for . Together with him, as a bystander audience, we discover how many pitfalls this honor entails to the point of delving, through poetic literary hyperbole, into the deepest traumas of childhood.

Thanking someone, after this mental journey, will never be the same again.

The collective Nina Vian was born from the 'union of some Roman artists who, after having each had several experiences abroad, decided that it was necessary to combine their skills and artistic sensibilities to give voice to the' common idea of stimulating the public, these days a bit 'sleepy. Through painting (Irene Messia), music (Nicola Benigni) and acting (Niccolò Muccio) and their interactions, performances with a feeling of intimacy and involvement come to life.

For each theme addressed, the collective enlists the active participation of additional artists, who share the same enthusiasm, so that each added artistic tool fosters the enjoyment of the theme in question. In fact, Nina Vian's core values are sharing, unity and mixing.
