The art studio "Arte in cantina" is located in via Fanfulla da Lodi 9 in the Pigneto area, Rome. In her search for the studio, artist Tatiana Balchesini looked for a location that had to closely resemble an old art shop. This place is a former cellar, used in the early 1900s as a home (it has in fact preserved the old cooking stoves). The studio, from an architectural point of view, has preserved some arches, an old window and the old cement tiles that give that slightly retro touch of an old shop. This reality is shared with artist Claudia Farrace. The artists have divided the space into a sort of creative laboratory where the works intersect and unfold in a liberating way following their personal creative flair.

Tatiana Balchesini's artistic process is based on introspective research, often not easy to understand. Her divergent and surreal works float lightly. The artist fixes, through color, the wickedness and beauty of the human soul, always experimenting with new paths when her most intimate chords are touched by emotions. She creates as a sketch only a mental process that materializes in the moment of abundant stratification of color, used to give volume and movement to the shapes that she wants to make emerge. This process moves like a high tide that touches the fingers and calms down only through the vortex of color.

The artist Claudia Farrace uses painting as her medium mainly, telling fragments of history of the female universe, often linked by a single meaning, even in their multiplicity. The women appear in white shirts, emphasizing the union, emancipation and courage, as well as sensuality and elegance, characteristics built by the woman with great versatility. They seem frozen in time, in a space of reflection and listening.
