The open Studio "Sacred and Profane" opens the doors to two ways of being, two existential situations assumed by man in the course of his human existence.
The sacred and the profane express a polarity, in which one could not subsist in the absence of the other. The Sacred and the Profane are polar: fascinans and tremendum, "salvific" and "destructive", "venerable" and "execrable", "beneficial" and "evil".
The Profane is only that which is arranged in the correct relationship with the Sacred. Outside the space sanctioned and sanctified by the "sacred", there is only a chaotic, anomalous, monstrous and hostile world.
