Laxmi Devi Crivellone was born in Rome in November.
Lover of art, photography, reading, personal freedom and animals. She is currently a Yoga teacher.
Since she was a child she has always been attracted to art thanks to her mother who painted in front of her and spent entire days immersed in colors, brushes and among the scents of turpentine.
She has never stopped her desire for painting, especially oil painting, trying to improve herself more and more thanks to this strong passion of hers and the meeting with her artist partner.
During her stay in India in 2008, which lasted about 7 years, she dedicated herself to the study of oriental philosophies but above all to the realization of her dream of opening a small family home for poor girls in Rishikesh. This long and strong experience has influenced the subjects of her canvases with a spiritual theme and then, upon her return to Italy, she devoted herself to painting melancholic dolls.
Now her passion is directed to the theme of the strong, authoritarian, non-submissive and free-to-be Woman. They are mysterious women who seem to announce a clear metamorphosis and cautiously learn to weave the web of their emancipated identity.
