The Erica Ravenna Gallery will reopen on October 3 at 6:30 PM with the exhibition Intorno a Interventi spontanei per alcuni amici, inspired by Vincenzo Agnetti's book SCRITTI D’ARTE (1959-1981), edited by Federica Boragina, who will present it during the inauguration.

The exhibition will feature works by Agnetti alongside those of Tomaso Binga, Antonio Calderara, Enrico Castellani, Marcel Duchamp, Piero Manzoni, Fausto Melotti, and Eva Sørensen. These artists were subjects of Agnetti's "critical interventions," which created a "sort of creative reflection" and reveal the deep intellectual connection between Agnetti and these artists, who shared a new vision of art during a significant cultural period from the 1950s to the 1970s.

Agnetti used writing not only to analyze his friends' works but also to explore the foundations of his own artistic research, fostering a reciprocal dialogue. His writings resist singular labels, fitting within the context of conceptual experimentation, where theory intertwines with artistic practice. Thus, language becomes a generative element in the artwork. The collection addresses themes such as the demystification of artistic languages, the autonomy of signs, and the necessity to transcend traditional artistic categorizations, highlighting a continuous dialogue between word and artwork.
