Presentation of the Art Printmaking Course: Techniques, History, and Materials.

Printmaking is a fascinating and complex world that encompasses a wide range of techniques and styles. Learning about the great masters and their works can deepen one’s understanding and appreciation of this art form. Experimenting with these techniques can also offer new creative perspectives and a profound appreciation for artistic tradition. This is why we are proud to announce the first introductory course on printmaking, designed and led by Alfonso Spezza.

The course presentation will take place on October 24 at 6:00 PM, with free entry.

The course will consist of three sessions at Spazio Mecenate, totaling 9 hours, under the guidance of the expert photographer Alfonso Spezza.

Spazio Mecenate will provide a vast collection of reproductions from contemporary masters such as Ugo Attardi, Renzo Vespignani, Renato Guttuso, and others, allowing participants to appreciate the differences and similarities between various techniques. A historical overview of printmaking techniques and the materials used will be covered. Finally, participants will have the opportunity to create their own personal piece and print it using the techniques learned.
