This exhibition takes us on a "dream" journey retracing various exploratory moments of Isonzo work.
His attention is focused on light, sound, movement and the interaction of these elements with some materials, especially harmonic bronze foil but also with a vast range of other metals, from aluminum to copper and from brass to iron, intervening on them through the use of various techniques, as in the case of his luminous "quadrisculptures" or his "Flex", bands of harmonic bronze bent by hand which become elastic or the vibrational plates which, if shaken, emit very intense sounds and so on.
Our eyes are always eager for images even during deep sleep, it is as if they were peering into the darkness of a mysterious, fascinating and unpredictable unconscious. In "conscious" artistic practice we perhaps make use of these visions, sensations, suggestions which unconsciously return in the reality of everyday life and in the apparently rational gestures of creation.
