WEAVINGS. Within and Beyond
A group exhibition bringing together the works of Laura Anfuso, Evandro Gabrieli, and Lucia Sforza, presenting a research journey in which the concept of weaving opens up to material, symbolic, and perceptual dimensions.
- The Evandro Gabrieli Gallery & Studio presents “Tessiture –
Dentro e Oltre” (Weavings – Within and Beyond), a group
exhibition bringing together works by Laura Anfuso,
Evandro Gabrieli, and Lucia Sforza. The show proposes
a journey of exploration in which the concept of weaving
opens up to material, symbolic, and perceptual dimensions.
The project investigates the weave as an invisible,
generative structure—a field where gesture, matter,
and time intertwine to shape narratives that transcend
the boundaries of the art object, becoming an experience
instead. The exhibited works engage in a dialogue as open
systems, balancing fragility and resilience, layering
and subtraction. A collaboration with GART – GardenArt
reinforces the project’s research-oriented nature,
prompting reflection on the relationship between artistic
practice and natural processes, and between construction
and continuous transformation. “Tessiture – Dentro e Oltre”
aligns with the gallery’s commitment to experimentation and
the convergence of diverse artistic languages, continuing
a curatorial path focused on the dialogue between materials,
disciplines, and contemporary visions.
