The Muse nella Notte personal event is an invitation to enter with curiosity into a gallery of colorful dreams, where every woman is a symbol, a meeting, a music, a story to live and tell. A pictorial constellation in which the theme of women is expressed in a series of 12 Muses, each expressed through a dominant color. The number 12 is not just a number: it is an archetypal key, a symbol of cyclicality and totality. 12 like the zodiac signs, like the months of the year, like the hours that make up day and night. 12, above all, represents the number of musical notes. “The choice and sequence of colours, the accrochage, were very successful – Bonito Oliva said again –, the 12 versions of each muse live in harmony all together while each maintaining their own personality: this is the multiplication of the unicum”.
“Fulcheri must certainly move forward with his “musical painting”, comments the critic and art historian Achille Bonito Oliva, who explains: “The eyes and mouths of his women can sing in silence, each has its own tic: a tie, chewing gum, a hat, lipstick, or rather a pirate bandana. Even the frames with the dominant color of the work in each painting are tuned to the same score. This painting is conceptual, because it uses colors and signs to write its musical score. His muses, left alone to observe them, were able to keep me company, playing the thirteenth note: silence”.
Giuseppe Fulcheri is a composer with important collaborations including those with Mogol, Cocciante, Mina, Gianni Bella, Anna Axa. Today painting increasingly supports his activity in the musical field, in a direction defined as "beyond pop art". The event will be opened by his piano performance.
