SottocorrenteArte presents an anthological exhibition by Fabrizio Intonti, a fine art photographer and visual artist with a strong philosophical foundation. The exhibition sequence weaves together internationally award-winning photographs with never-before-seen neon light sculptures. In this body of work, neon light becomes a natural extension of photographic narrative, while the author navigates diverse techniques drawing from surrealist influences, visual paradoxes, and metaphors (as seen in the Sottosopra series).
At the heart of the exhibition lies a striking reflection on the body: the clichés of commercial communication and fashion magazines in the Vanity Fire series are disrupted or deconstructed through art icons and digital provocations (such as in the artwork Insert Coin, which investigates the modern market of desire). Intonti thus exposes the ambiguities of contemporary sociality and the illusion of online "sharing."
