“Between Reality and Imagination”
Exhibition by Alessandra and Daysi
Two artists, two sensibilities that meet on the common ground of drawing.
Both trained at the International School of Comics in Rome, Alessandra and Daysi share a search for an authentic language, where lines become emotion and narrative.
Alessandra, illustrator, singer-songwriter, and music producer, combines narrative sensibility and aesthetic research, exploring themes such as identity, metamorphosis, and the dream world. She alternates and blends different traditional manual techniques, constructing worlds that hover between reality and imagination. Her recent work has led her to confront the theme of violence against women, bringing together images, music, and words to give life to emotional and symbolic universes.
Daysi, a Cuban artist, transforms drawing into a universal language. Through sincere strokes and vibrant colors, she recounts her emotions, thoughts, and desire to grow. For her, drawing is a way to communicate what words cannot always express.
Two different perspectives, one vision: art as a meeting place between silence, strength, and inner truth.
