VISIONS
Visions is a project born from the sharing of a common workspace by two artists with
different educational backrounds.
Susanna Moroli has an academic fine arts education, while Paola Virone was trained in fashion and design. Both use color as an expressive force, through a figuration that is at times deceptive yet functional, aimed at reconstructing an image-even if only a virtual one.
Trough painting, each artist translates emotions, memories, visions of the world into a
personal form of expression.
SM explores the close relationship between the perceived landscape as a subject and his
abstract transposition into an inner state. Here, color-applied in strokes or patches- enhances or partially conceals figuration, giving life to a more complex image that reflects the subject’s intimate experience.
PV uses color as a vivid presence, an exaltation of nature that transforms into an
interwoven composition from which highly expressive forms and lines emerge. Through the layering of colors, she creates emotional landscapes where every hue
becomes memory, exploration and discovery.
