My painting stems from an expressive need that is made up of reiterated and sedimented broken gestures, fragmented spreads of colours suspended between concretions and rarefactions, a dialogic combination of light and shadows. The stains are an indication of a growing and continuous emotional quest that moves the process and nourishes it. They are in search of a natural, spontaneous sign that becomes visible with sudden jerks, allowing transparencies to emerge amidst intertwining composite and dense brushstrokes.
The colouring materials are spread directly on the support, the more or less fluid colours laid down for everything to flow. A sense of temporary but concrete presence prepares me to accept the unfinished, the doubt, the apeno, I move in the desire for exploration, research, knowledge, identity.
