My name is Lucrezia Febo, and I am a curator working in the field of contemporary art. Born in Rome in 2001, I have developed my professional path through an academic background combining communication, marketing, art management, and exhibition design, progressively cultivating my interest in curatorial practice and in the development of projects dedicated to contemporary art.

After earning a degree in Communication, Marketing and Digital Media from LUMSA University, I completed a Master’s degree in Art Management at Luiss Business School, where I explored museum curatorship, art gallery management, communication, and exhibition design. In 2026, I continued my education with a Master’s degree in Exhibition and Event Design and Management at Treccani Accademia, focusing on curatorship, exhibit design, exhibition management, and the development of the visitor experience.

Since 2025, I have been collaborating with Contart Gallery in Rome, where I work on the curation and organization of exhibitions, overseeing the different stages of exhibition development: from research and artwork selection to the definition of the concept, from working with artists to exhibition design, as well as communication and event management.

Throughout my professional experience, I have contributed to the development and curation of numerous solo and group exhibitions, engaging with artists and diverse artistic practices. Among my most significant projects is the co-curation of Dialoghi Senza Confini: Dieci Voci dell’Arte tra Italia e Argentina, held at the Casa Culturale dell'Ambasciata Argentina – Istituto Culturale di Roma. I have also participated in major contemporary art fairs, including Roma Arte in Nuvola 2025 and BOOMing Contemporary Art Show 2025.

My curatorial approach is rooted in the desire to create dialogues between artists, artworks, and audiences, developing exhibition experiences that connect different sensibilities, languages, and perspectives. I see the exhibition not simply as a space in which artworks are displayed, but as a place for encounter, research, and exchange, where curatorial practice can offer new perspectives and foster a deeper relationship between the artwork and the visitor.

Alongside curatorial practice, I work in art communication and storytelling, from writing critical texts and exhibition materials to developing catalogues and digital content. This dimension allows me to integrate creative, organizational, and communication skills into the development of exhibition projects.

Through my work, I aim to continue developing projects that support and enhance the research of contemporary artists, create new connections between cultural institutions and creative communities, and contribute to building an increasingly open dialogue between art and the public.
