Raffaele Quattrone (Foggia, 1974) lives and works between Bologna and Rome. He collaborates with Wall Street International Magazine and is ambassador of the Terzo Paradiso project created by Michelangelo Pistoletto. He was president of the Associazione Nazionale Sociologi, Dipartimento Emilia Romagna and founder and director of Startup magazine. He wrote Modernità e campo dell'arte. Per una sociologia critica dell'arte contemporanea italiana and IN ITINERE. Arte contemporanea in trasformazione published in 2014 by Equipèco Edizioni with two important contributions: a text written by Michelangelo Pistoletto and a conversation with the Chinese artist Wang Qingsong.
Quattrone has written hundreds of articles, numerous exhibition catalog texts and interviews with international artists like Mario Airò, Renato Barilli, Bertozzi & Casoni, Ergin Cavusoglu, Alberto Di Fabio, Stan Douglas, Nicola Formichetti, Gonkar Gyatso, Paul Gladston and Yu Youhan, Kepa Garraza, Anthony Gormley, Kimsooja, Jeff Koons, Mona Hatoum, Sabrina Mezzaqui, Nasr Moataz, Shirin Neshat, Giuseppe Penone, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Zimoun, etc.
His latest project NewFaustianWorld which included a book (in Italian / English published by 24 ORE Cultura), a documentary (directed by Piero Passaro, produced by Theater 7/2 Productions and translated into English, French, Spanish, Hindi and Greek) and two exhibitions (Augeo Art Space, Rimini and Beatrice Burati Anderson, Venice) received numerous international awards: 6 on Nebraska (Cape Town, South Africa) - Best documentary; RAGFF Venezia 2018 - Best documentary; FilmArte Festival (Madrid, Spain) - Jury Award ("a film with a great educational and informative force"); West Side Mountains Doc Fest (Athens, Greece) – Grand Prix Award.
He cooperates with Real Academia de Espana en Roma.
