My current work focuses on color:, its identity, its attractiveness, the search for balance between different painted layers, vibrations, and harmony. It is a matter of providing a mental space and of creating an emotional bond between the painter and the viewer. Through my paintings I seek to establish a degree of emotional intimacy with the viewer, as though the two of us were connected. I think of these works as visual poems. Only when this balance is achieved, do I consider a painting to be finished.
