Jewellery, ceramics, photography and lately the creation of installations and performances are her fields of action. The need is to create direct contact with the public by addressing the crucial issues of this historical moment.
Data and contact details
Francesca di Ciaula was born in Padua in 1960. After classical high school she attended the Faculty of Art History at the University of Padua while learning the art of working with precious metal. In 1985, with a scholarship for the Rietveld Art Academy (department Jewellery-linking Bodies), she moved to Amsterdam, the city where she settle in. Last years she has broadened her range of interest and action to photography and the creation of installations and performances. Currently she works between Amsterdam, Rome and Tel Aviv.
