Critical and biographical notes:
Vincenza Spiridione, Paintresse and sculptresse.
She expresses her vision of reality with a figurative language that allows her to synthesize forms, molding all manner of materials (clay, plaster, stone, lost-wax bronze casting, and finally polyurethane, polystyrene, plexiglass, and foam rubber), embracing their potential and characteristics, at times achieving the immediacy of an informal message, but always with figurative, symbolic, and conceptual references that enhance the mark. At the root of her original work lies an authentic and visceral message aimed at representing the contradictions and tragedies of our time, particularly wars and migrations. His project, Uomodovevai, was created in 2017. Major events of the last decade include:
