Painter, sculptor and writer, born in Rome in December '78.
His painting develops in a figurative style that brings to mind twentieth-century canons and sometimes classical subjects "dirtied" by a contemporary touch. References to myth highlight the emotional states of man through the fragility of the various deities he represents. This painting alternates with a strong metaphysical concept, characterized by vector silhouettes and shadows that show their full expressiveness in a surreal space. A place - non-place where the figures move arbitrarily looking for points of light that can show them the way out. May it give them the answers to life's deepest questions.
The pictorial path is punctuated over the years by female figures with a strong poetic inspiration who, for the artist, actually represent the other part of man, that more fragile and sensitive and consequently more communicative part. The female subject, through almost static poses, rigid expressions and gazes directed into an empty space, lose their aesthetic form and are transformed into an instrument through which all the feelings of the human being are conveyed quickly and directly. An inner instinct that finds its creativity in works that arise from various emotions and all those moods that continually change. A non-stop obsessive search that points to the true absence of the human soul.
The need to communicate through body language also takes shape in sculpture, representing and interpreting the emotional part, the discomforts and feelings contained in man through the working of clay. An "unfinished" where the limbs are deconstructed by shaping themselves in the material composed of raw earth, rough paste and stucco. The sculptures deliberately do not undergo firing processes for a concept based on a natural deterioration over time of the clay, which remains inside a living element that comes from the river.
His language also develops through the ancient fresco technique which he learned in the prestigious Mariani atelier in the city of Brescia.
He wrote and directed three screenplays for short films, participating in the Milan film festival, winning best audience criticism at the Sforza castle, and arrived among the top eight in competition at the Lucania film festival with the short film "Malinconico pianista".
He published his first work of fiction entitled "The man who saw opaque" in May 2019 published by kimerik and his second novel entitled "The unknown protagonist of history" with the publishing house Lfa publisher was published in October of 2020. In November 2022 he published his third novel entitled "From the point of view" with Porto Seguro publisher.
Since 2021 he has been co-founder of the artistic hub Ausgang24, born as an experimental arts project with the aim of creating a multidisciplinary concept to bring together all artists who need to express themselves in complete freedom, breaking away from the restrictions and constraints of current society.
After having participated in several collective and personal exhibitions in Rome, Milan, Brindisi, Florence and Pescara, he received critical approval from the art historian Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico and the patronage of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts after having exhibited in Zecchillo studio (formerly Piero Manzoni studio)
He is the winner of the first prize of the Amedeo Modigliani foundation in the 2023 painting category. He is the winner of an artist residency with a fresco installation in the open-air museum "Terracielo" in the naturalistic park of Macchia d'Isernia for the project born from Michelangelo Pistoletto's
