I was born in Bolzano in 1957 and have loved drawing and painting since childhood. I graduated with honours in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and completed a two-year course in Visual Arts and Performing Arts, also with honours. I then spent a semester in Hamburg as a scholarship holder at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste, working with artists such as Monika Baer and Wim Wenders.
In Rome, I started as a Laboratory Technician for the Painting course at the Academy of Fine Arts and collaborated in the courses of Artistic Anatomy and Painting Techniques. I have always cultivated teaching, holding private painting courses and teaching in various school contexts, from secondary school to primary school. I also specialised in Waldorf didactics for Waldorf schools.
For the past few years, I have been working as a scene painter for film and theatre, creating sets and backdrops for films and shows. I regularly exhibit my paintings in solo and group exhibitions, and many of my works are hired to appear in films. Before I dedicated myself to teaching, I founded Sognosondesto s.a.s, an interior decoration company with which I worked all over Italy.
After 15 years spent between countries in the Middle and Far East, I have been living and working in Rome since 1990, continuing to explore my creative world.
