Born in Messina in 1977, he began painting at the age of 6 in the Convitto Antoniano. His fertile career that began in 2000 has led him to exhibit at numerous group and solo shows both in Italy and abroad, always earning critical acclaim. Among the various participations are those at the Fin del Mundo Biennial (Valparaiso - Chile 2015); Curitiba Biennial (Brazil 2019) Paths of Italian contemporary art-art towards the new millennium ( Hanoi - Vietnam 2019). Selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for exhibition events in Italian Cultural Institutes in Lima, Bogota, Beijing, Tokyo, Copenhagen, Budapest, Lausanne, Estoril, St. Petersburg, Paris and Toronto. In 2015, he created the 'Door of the Sea' at the Lipari Castle entrance to the Museum of Contemporary Art, with major international contemporary artists Alberto Burri, Igor Mitoraj, Fabrizio Plessi, Mimmo Paladino, Renato Guttuso to name a few.
The Maschio Angioino in Naples and the Castel dell'Ovo have been the setting for his Italian performances. In 2019 he is appointed Expert for Contemporary Art of the City of Messina. Some companies such as Ducati, Mercedes Smart create some cars and motorcycles through Caminiti's works. His works are in important public and private collections in Italy, Dubai, Estoril, Paris, Oslo, Geneva, New York, Miami, Shenzhen, Curitiba.
