Sarah Zakaib is a multidisciplinary visual and conceptual artist that works in sculpture, drawing, sound and performance. She has been working in-between Montreal, Canada and Rome, Italy for the last nine years, having completed her BFA at Concordia University in 2009. A Montrealer with Italian and Lebanese roots, she has participated in a variety of shows internationally. Her practice consists in the exporation of the lived experience of the body in relation to memory and identity. Recurring questions are related to the lived experience of the artists and oftentimes will have a direct link to her personal life, or the personal lives of the people around her.
