Adriana Isabel Correa Machado

Architect and artist by passion, drawing has always been her means of observation and communication. Her discovery of watercolor revealed to her the expressive power of light and its ability to explore nature.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas, Venezuela (1996), a Master’s degree in Architecture II from Syracuse University (1999), and a Master’s degree in History of Architecture from Roma Tre University (2003). Alongside her uninterrupted practice as an architect, she has pursued his passion for drawing as a tool for observation and understanding. In 2012, she discovered watercolor painting as a means of expression through courses and seminars with illustrators Gioia Marchegiani and Marina Marcolin, and began a her exploration into nature that continues to this day. Since 2021, she has been teaching watercolor independently, offering both individual and group lessons, both outdoors and in the studio. Teaching allows her to refine not only her technique and her ability to understand and convey knowledge, but also her ongoing exploration of water as a medium of expression.
