Fabia Rodi (Madrid, 1983) is a Spanish-Italian artist based in Rome. After studying Image and Photography at C.E.V. in Madrid and working as a photographic assistant, she moved to Rome in 2004, where she continued developing her artistic practice.
Her work spans photography, collage and ceramics, exploring the relationship between images, materials and imagination. Since 2016, collage has become a central part of her research, evolving from compositions made with her own photographs to a practice that combines digital imagery with the tactile process of hand-cutting and assembling fragments from printed and found images.
Through the juxtaposition of disparate elements, Rodi creates personal visual worlds in which unexpected connections, contrasts and narratives emerge. Her work has been exhibited in Italy, Spain, France, Colombia and the United States.
Alongside collage and photography, she continues to explore ceramics as another medium for artistic expression.
