I am a conceptual artist, a lover of experimentation and research in the visual arts. In 2000 I obtained the Degree in Decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce with the installation and thesis "The secret of things" inspired by the concept of "absence" in the works of the artist Domenico Gnoli. Followed by a master's degree in Entertainment Manager, a specialization in "Expert in the Promotion, Enhancement and Protection of Artistic Heritage", two post-graduates in teaching of artistic disciplines and elements of artistic teaching. My work is a continuous experimentation, it was born way back in 2000, when my father, a metallurgist, brought home some scraps of metal powder and on metal plates I began to create my first works, representing large engraved metal envelopes, installed one in front of the another with its own open content made of acid-printed faces, words, letters. I call them "Smile World" that is, letters sent to humanity without a specific recipient. I have exhibited in personal and collective national and international exhibitions, this CV has allowed me to work at the Schools of Arts and Crafts of the Municipality and of Roma Capitale, where I taught mosaic and drawing from 2008 to 2017. Subsequently I had the role as a teacher of the Ministry of Education in Art and Image at the Secondary School. My works speak of messages, sent to humanity without a precise recipient, hiding the concept of "absence-essence". Today my artistic research is directed towards the content of invisible matter, my new works are born from micro-paintings, created on small rectangles of acetate, mounted on 24x36 mm slide frames and then post digitized to create different solutions in print also on panels bright and I don't use AI. I use recycled materials that I mix together, micro organic elements and micro plastics. Each micro painting is new and unrepeatable because the waste is taken, mixed, treated, enlarged, studied and dissected in order to show its deepest essence. The image is encrypted as in a production process, distorting its particular intended use and blocking any form of food waste in a creative microcosm where the elements mix thanks to the elements OF and IN nature. The work can be printed on a plotter or even projected in large dimensions. The latest works are born as luminous containers, defined as "microcosms", they shed light on the close and delicate relationship between man and the environment. The creation of micro paintings made with organic and inorganic waste are reused to create light generators. The installations aim to make people reflect on the problem of food waste and plastic recycling; a pathological abundance, a pleasure, an obsession and waste of industrialized countries.
