The collective exhibition develops starting from the 2010 work Stella by Ennio Tamburi (Jesi, 1936 – Rome, 2018) with which the artist launches a cycle of works dedicated to the theme of darkness – in which Tamburi elaborates a pictorial proposal in capable of reconciling the absolute, indefinite openness of the space of representation with the geometric and rigorous nature of the form - this work nourishes the relationship between a primary, mysterious and chaotic conception of the cosmos, and an orderly one, thinkable in terms of language and architecture . The invited artists, called to dialogue with Tamburi's work, understand the surface as an opportunity to explore the abyssal cosmic space, tracing in it the signs, the traces, the symbols of our relationship with the unknown, which has always been the object of research aesthetic and scientific.

ETworks Studio preserves the legacy of the visual artist Ennio Tamburi, one of the leading exponents of Italian pictorial abstraction.
ETworks Studio is a new exhibition space opened in 2022 in the heart of the historic and vibrant San Lorenzo district by Vanessa Tamburi and curated by Roberto Lacarbonara, with the aim of stimulating a dialogue between the now historicized work of Ennio Tamburi and contemporary artists in full swing living that share Tamburi's aesthetic and ethical principles.
ETworks Studio gives access to an open door to the world. With the same elegance and sobriety that binds the works of Ennio Tamburi, the space approaches San Lorenzo as an international headquarters. where the works on display reveal a broad and global view of today's contemporary art.
