Antonio Cersosimo Antonio Cersosimo, scultore e artista nato a Crucoli nel 1945, ha esposto in Italia, Francia, Germania, Spagna, Svezia, Ungheria e America del Nord. Metafisico, neorealista di forte impegno sociale; scolpisce su legno, onice , marmo e pietre diverse, esegue fusioni in bronzo e sbalzi in lega ternaria, mettendo in risalto la “jonicità” del suo stile, riscontrandolo nella morbidezza delle linee e delle forme, e nell’atteggiamento rivoluzionario che pone l’uomo al centro della sua creatività. La “jonicità” di Cersosimo trova la sua anima nel movimento incessante del mare, le cui onde, fluendo e rifluendo, modellano le pietre, restituendo, a distanza di millenni, la staticità dei modelli greci, rigenerati in forme di sinuosa bellezza.Il flusso energico delle mani del mare spoglia i corpi della loro materialità, plasmando soggetti filiformi, eterei pur nella loro plasticità, in un’inedita dimensione spazio-temporale.
