Selvanegra is a contemporary art gallery founded in November 2017 by its current directors, Silvina and Josefina Sícoli. Located in Villa Crespo, the gallery’s windows open onto the street and cultivate a dynamic relationship with the surrounding neighborhood through activities and exhibitions aimed at public engagement. The visibility of the gallery windows and the space’s recent past as a small business offer exciting possibilities for each exhibition.
Selvanegra is a collective of working artists that aspires to create a space for experimentation and reflection, focusing on feminist currents and the intention to stimulate closer analyses regarding the visibility, movement and relationships between the artistic community and the art market.
