The Mosaikon Association was born from a shared passion for the art of mosaic,aiming to transform this ancient tradition into a means of connection, expression and sharing. The name "Mosaikon" encapsulates our essence: bringing together individual tiles to create a unique,communal work of art.We are committed to preserving and passing on mosaic techniques and culture,fostering personal and collective creativity,promoting social inclusion and revitalizing urban and social spaces through collaborative projects-such as the mosaic panel created by the association to commemorate the Fosse Ardeatine massacre,now installed at the entrance to the Garbatella metro station. Our activities include organizing courses for both beginners and experts: hosting exhibitions and events to promote mosaic art and showcase our members' work: and creating collaborative mosaics to beautify and enhance public areas and school grounds.
