SUBSTRATUM, an architecture studio in Monti district of Rome, active for 5 years, opens in January 2023 GALLERIA, a relational space between design, art and contemporary practices. Every 4 months the studio proposes the setting up of a room of the house, inspired by a theme, selecting contemporary design furnishings, while the curator Amalia Di Lanno presents the works of an artist who can dialogue with the concept of the room and with the chosen theme.

A project born from the idea of recreating an 'inner' and familiar environment in which the interior furnishing project harmonizes with the works of contemporary artists who, from time to time, interact with the space. Leading visitors to a forgotten elsewhere, a below that reemerges above, immersed in a refined and intimate atmosphere in which to meet and rediscover together, at each appointment, the sense of a lost culture and humanity through artistic practices.
