Maria Pacheco Cibils

ARGENTINIAN-PORTUGUESE DESIGNER AND VISUAL ARTIST.HER ART WORKS RANGE BETWEEN INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE, SETUP SETTINGS, DESIGN OF ART OBJECTS, MOBILE, JEWELRY AND COSTUMES, PAINTING AND INSTALLATIONS.

Argentine-Portuguese designer and visual artist.

Her work spans interior architecture, set design, exhibition design, art object design, furniture, jewellery and costume design, as well as painting and installations.

She has collaborated with prestigious magazines, newspapers and television channels.

She has organised exhibitions for artists and photographers, as well as theatre and contemporary dance performances.

As the creator of several brands, she has developed prototypes and graphic designs for them in Argentina, Paraguay and Italy.

Her research in painting and installations focuses on primordial and archetypal themes.

Her work is intended as an exploration of the four elements of nature, which are the root of all immutable and eternal things, and of the processes of human transformation.

Chromatic potential and energy, material vibrations and organic ‘textures’ form the basis of her practice.

She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Spain, Germany, Austria, the USA, Croatia, the United Kingdom and Italy.

Winner of the First Prize for Painting “Lorenzo il Magnifico” (Florence Biennale 2023) and the “Special Commendation from the President for Installation Art” (Florence Biennale 2025) Honourable Mention for Artistic Merit: Luxembourg Art Prize in 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025.

Her works are held in institutional venues and private collections.

She currently lives and works between Argentina and Italy
