Institut français - Centre Saint-Louis
The Institut français - Centre Saint-Louis is the French cultural
centre in Rome, dependent on the French Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and the French Embassy to the Holy See,
and plays a role in disseminating the French language and
French-speaking cultures. Founded in 1945 by the Ambassador
philosopher Jacques Maritain. It offers French language
courses, screening room, exhibitions and cultural activities and has a media library with books, CD and DVD in French.
