Galleria Lorcan O'Neill
Lorcan O'Neill Gallery opened in 2003 to do exhibitions with living artists in Rome, bringing international artists to Italy and Italian artists to a wider global audience. In 2014, the gallery moved from Trastevere to a large 17th century stable building in the heart of Rome, offering more exhibition and outdoor space. Our program includes readings, screenings, and performances, as well as many off-site projects around the world.

Galleria Lorcan O'Neill opened in 2003 as a space for contemporary art in Rome. The gallery works with international artists – including Martin Creed, Tracey Emin, Anselm Kiefer, Richard Long, Kiki Smith, Jeff Wall and Rachel Whiteread – most of whom showed in Italy for the first time at the gallery. Part of our programme is dedicated to exhibiting influential Italian artists such as Enrico Castellani, Francesco Clemente, Giorgio Griffa, Luigi Ontani and Emilio Prini. We also show and support a younger generation of artists, some of whom exhibited with us for their first time: Celia Hempton, Emiliano Maggi, Eddie Peake, Gianni Politi, and Prem Sahib.  In 2014 the gallery moved to a large building in the heart of Rome, offering more exhibition rooms as well as outdoor space; these new premises allow us to add readings, screenings and performances to our programme.
