Residenza Leone XIII is located in the Trastevere district on Via delle Mantellate, a street that extends from Via della Lungara to Via di San Francesco di Sales, in the area near the former Regina Coeli women's prison. Before the unification of Italy, this area was home to vegetable gardens, vineyards, and small buildings, as well as the monasteries of the Discalced Carmelites and the Mantellate, with their respective churches of Santa Maria di Regina Coeli and Santa Maria della Visitazione (or San Francesco di Sales). The historic building, after careful renovation and conservative restoration, now houses comfortable guest rooms and multipurpose spaces. Situated in a central and strategic location in Rome, its goal is to create a welcoming and social hub distinct from the neighborhood's other establishments. Residenza Leone XIII is enhanced by the presence of an ancient and large garden and a dedicated exhibition hall where it hosts artistic events, book presentations, and conferences, and has a dedicated exhibition room.
