Galleria La Pigna was founded in 1966, in the midst of the turbulent 1960s, inside the 17th-century Palazzo Maffei Marescotti. It is home to the UCAI (Catholic Union of Italian Artists), and from its inception to the present, its mission has always been to foster a broad exchange between the various independent modern movements and the most deeply religious expressions.
