Tiziana D’Acchille

After graduating in Art History and studying in depth 15th-century Venetian art with Augusto Gentili and Roman painting of the Sistine period with Maurizio Calvesi, he oriented his research on contemporary art since 1993, dedicating exhibitions and reviews to young emerging artists working in the Roman territory.

In 1999 he founded d’AC, the Civic Gallery of Ciampino, from a recovered architectural complex (former Social Winery), becoming its artistic director, a position he held until 2006.

During the course of d’AC’s artistic direction, he will carry out a work of enhancement of the place through an intense activity of exhibitions, educational workshops and meetings with artists of international caliber documented also by a rich press review, the involvement of artists and curators of clear fame and a notable success with the public (see attached press review).

For d’AC, she is curator of all exhibition activity and author of numerous catalog presentations of artists, including, to name a few:

Alessandra Giovannoni, Carlo Maria Mariani, Matteo Basilé, Giacomo Costa, Botto and Bruno, Gea Casolaro, Omar Galliani, Pablo Echaurren, Umberto Cavenago, Giorgio Ortona, Yu-Ichi, Aurelio Bulzatti, Guido Strazza, Federico Lombardo, Andrea Martinelli, Tommaso Cascella, Corrado Zeni, Roberto Sena. For d’AC he calls on curators such as Augusta Monferini, Maurizio Calvesi, Lorenza Trucchi, Maria Teresa Benedetti, Marco di Capua, Viviana Gravano, Carlo Alberto Bucci, Franco Speroni, and many others to curate exhibitions and debates.

In 2012, he published a volume published by Jacobelli collecting his critical writings made during the Art Direction of d’AC.
