The exhibition project was conceived as a dialogue between a selection of vintage photographs by Luigi Ghirri (Scandiano 1942 - Roncocesi 1992) and works specifically created by Verdiana Bove (Rome, 1996), who is for the first time exhibiting in our spaces.
Verdiana Bove's artistic practice comes to life through family photographs collected in old albums, which transposed on canvas appear as memories: an autobiographical work in which the theme of memory is pivotal.
For "La luce abbraccia tutto", the artist, going beyond the personal dimension, has confronted herself with the imagery of the Emilian master present in the exhibition with both landscape photographs, and interiors.
Light will be a fundamental element of union between the two artists' research.
