“VITTORIA LIPPI – Opere dagli anni Cinquanta agli anni Novanta”

An anthological exhibition dedicated to a gone 20th-century artist.

On Friday, April 21, 2023, at 6.30pm, will open at Galleria La Nica in Rome the exhibition "VITTORIA LIPPI – Opere dagli anni Cinquanta agli anni Novanta", curated by Maria Vittoria Marchetta. The exhibition will present to the public a selection of paintings on canvas by an artist, now deceased, whose research has not yet been duly recognized by contemporary critics.

Vittoria Lippi (Perugia, 1918 - Cesena, 1996) was a painter who admirably elaborated the impulses coming from the harmonic osmosis between her artistic feeling and the palette of nature.

The paintings in the exhibition, all oils on canvas, covering a span of time from her already mature production of the 1950s to that of the last years of her life, represent the summa of an artist who went through one of the richest and most contrasted periods of the post-World War II European scenario.

"VITTORIA LIPPI – Opere dagli anni Cinquanta agli anni Novanta", produced in collaboration with the Enzo Brunori Cultural Association, established in 1993 on Vittoria Lippi's initiative, will be available for viewing from April 21 to May 20, 2023.
