Prenestina 1 and Prenestina 2 is one of the diptychs of Luci su Roma Est, a project that investigates the periphery of Rome through an analytical painting, depicting two independent and complementary moments.
The point of view can equally be one single angle of observation from which the two opposite perspectives start, or two poles that face toward the same focus.
The observer, therefore, collects different views within and becomes the center of antipodes.
The choice of subjects arises from a reflection on the present state of an urban area.
