Saturday 30 October from 4:00 pm Marjan Fahimi Art Studio opens its doors to host its first public event in conjunction with Rome Art Week.
The space located on the outskirts of Rome is immersed in the nature of the Roman countryside, allowing an immersive dialogue with it, which is necessary in the artist's creative process.
Marjan Fahimi, originally from Iran, has lived and worked in Rome for years. She grew up professionally and artistically in Italy but still brings with her the suggestions of her land, in her paintings "it is the Cosmos that dominates the scene." A constant pictorial research on the naturalistic component of the landscape and its poetics; or what makes this spectacular in the eyes of the observer; in her latest works she tries to get closer to the essence of this research using a more abstract approach and focusing her attention on the main elements that characterize the poetics of the landscape such as the contrasting games between lights and shadows, colors and textures, creating atmospheres that evoke in our subconscious visions of nature.
