On the occasion of the seventh centenary of the death of Dante Alighieri AA.VV. presents his new work created for the occasion.
There are 6 paintings on the theme of the Divine Comedy, two for each Canticle, oil on canvas 50 x 70 cm., Which take inspiration from the famous engravings by Gustave Dorè.
Unlike the usual, these are not paintings made each by a different author, but a single painting executed by six authors.
The exhibition also includes a "Homage to Painting" with studies from "Lo Straniero" by Casorati and the "Deposition" by Pontormo, together with other works by AA.VV.

AA.VV. Picturae
In 2016, Laura Grosso, invited to participate with her Studio in the "Includendo" event at the Tibur Space in Rome, set up a working group to create the first work with her students of that year: Marta Ascione, Giovanni Bonfiglio, Marina Corallo, Lucia Costantini, Angelica Fortuzzi, Daniela Giovannini, Silvana Troisi, Barbara Zapparoli.
This initial group later grew with new students of the Studio and external painters: Patrizia Ercoli, Fabiana Bosio, Francesca Castellani, Ornella Delle Donne, Anthony Lombardi, Marina Saccucci, remaining open to all painters who feel they share the work of Painting.
The AA.VV. was born with the intention of expressing and enhancing the difference between people, taking as a paradigm the painting witnessed by history based on the observation of visible reality, which is achieved in the harmony of lines, shapes, tones and colors. In each of these elements, and particularly in the color, diversity and complementarity coexist. The different colors are distinguished without ever entering into a destructive conflict: enhancing the characteristics of each other, they blend to achieve harmony together.
The research of AA.VV. it translates into paintings based on the observation of visible reality and on the elements of painting: drawing, shape, tone, color, pictorial material, history and technique; the subjects adopted are the traditional ones of painting, still life, landscape, figure; the themes range freely according to the inspiration of the moment.
The works, conceived and created chorally, are each made up of a variable number of paintings made by the authors. Each painting fits into the whole while maintaining the particular character of the author who painted it unchanged.
In working together on a single work, the comparison between the different temperaments acts as a source of inspiration for each author, who draws a progressive enrichment that increases his potential and skills: the result is a collective work in which they happily coexist. different individualities.
