PATHOS arises from the convergence of diverse languages, generations, and sensibilities, united by a shared reflection on the role of emotion in the artistic experience. The exhibition explores *pathos* not merely as a sentimental expression, but as a generative force capable of shaping inner intensity into image, matter, and gesture.
In Greek culture, *pathos* symbolized the deepest, most irrational dimension of the human being—a realm that eludes the dominion of reason and, precisely for this reason, harbors potent creative potential. Even today, the term evokes an emotional tension that engages the viewer, stirring participation, empathy, and deep emotion. In art, however, *pathos* is not merely depicted; it becomes a "presence" that permeates the work, embeds itself in the material, and leaves visible traces of lived experience.
The works on display bear witness to various ways of interpreting this "presence." Painting, sculpture, and photography engage in a dialogue where each artistic inquiry retains its own identity while contributing to a collective narrative. The result is a journey in which the emotional element translates into formal tension, memory, and transformation, revealing how the act of creation serves as a space where the individual dimension opens up to a universal perspective.
