With “THE INVISIBLE POWER,” I wish to remind us that not everything we see is real, and not everything that is real can be seen

Angelika Aks Open Studio

I am delighted to present my collection of three artworks entitled “THE INVISIBLE POWER” (2021–2026).

Through these works, I explore the invisible forces that shape our existence: time, memory, fears, illusions, and the unconscious. I use the language of contemporary symbolism and surrealism, transforming objects and figures into metaphors of the human condition.

“Simple Geometry” (2021), 50 × 50 cm, mixed media on canvas, represents the origins of life, balance, and transformation.

“And Even Eternity Is Not Eternal” (2022), 50 × 70 cm, oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas, reflects on the fragility of time and the illusion of eternity.

“The Carnival Is Over, but the Game Continues” (2026), 60 × 50 cm, oil and acrylic on canvas, explores social masks, hidden identities, and the invisible mechanisms of power.

Through this collection, I wish to invite viewers to look beyond appearances, to question the boundary between reality and illusion, and to discover the silent forces that guide our choices, our desires, and our perception of the world.
