CLASH Rome Berlin

Six artists from the Rome and Berlin art scenes meet at Studio ORMA for the sixth edition of CLASH, BcmA’s project connecting independent artists and art spaces through direct exchange.

CLASH Rome Berlin

Studio ORMA hosts CLASH Rome Berlin, a group exhibition curated by BcmA connecting the independent art scenes of Rome and Berlin.

Now in its sixth edition, following exchanges between Berlin, Madrid and Valencia, CLASH begins with the belief that discovering art means encountering it in person: travelling, meeting artists, entering unfamiliar places and finding works beyond the usual channels. The artists make the journey themselves, bring their works with them and spend time in the host city.

For the Rome edition, Wolfgang Flad, Jeroen Cremers and Jay Gard, members of the BcmA Berlin team, have invited Letizia Scarpello, Gioia Pompeo and Gina Babić to join the exhibition.

Berlin, shaped by destruction and reconstruction, meets Rome, where the past retains a physical presence in everyday life. What emerges from these different experiences is deliberately left open: the works enter a new environment, encounter new perspectives and build relationships through presence and exchange.

CLASH was conceived by Ricardo de Larrea, founder of BcmA.

Artists: Gina Babić, Jeroen Cremers, Wolfgang Flad, Jay Gard, Gioia Pompeo, Letizia Scarpello.

Curated by BcmA, in collaboration with Studio ORMA.
