The works by the sculptor Elvino Motti and the Memories by Fabio Cicuto will be on show until October 29 at the Stable Exhibition by Alessandro Trani.
Alessandro Trani, a Roman artist, was trained in various associations of the capital, including "Art Studio Tre" and "Cento Pittori di Via Margutta". Trani is changing his quest for a sea and a horizon as a mental story, towards an informal that recalls primordial signs and presences, in which dawn and sunset coincide in a time that is utopia of being and a sign of transformation . In this new cycle that appears to be walking towards geometry and parallelism, as a function of narratives and mental illusionisms, Trani recovers, with painting and color, the conceptual part of an art that wants to favor philosophies and reflections. His works lead to the pleasant sinking of the senses with an observation that brings the movement of a pendulum, constantly oscillating between the vigilant conscience that takes vision of a linear, forteed essential draft and the emotion of a work that calls us as protagonists and characters in search of an author in a theater that determines an environment of our being.
Elvino Motti, a pupil of Giuliano Vangi at the Institute of Art in Cantù, graduated from the Brera Academy of Art. The sculptor, starting from a very deep conception of matter, goes in search of abstractions that manifest meanings of intense introspection and deliberate research. He can represent this emotionality through very synthetic symbologies and surrealisms that allow him an emotional abandonment, covering his subjects with magical idealizations. The three-dimensionality is never an end in itself, but goes towards an attempt to collect that gives meaning to a thought that is the perfect translation of a very thin technique.
Fabio Cicuto is a Roman artist, researcher of the art. He began his artistic career in music in the early 80s in London. Later he turned to the world of painting, where he found the possibility of expressing himself more freely. Cicuto prefers experimentation on the "spots" and on the memory of matter, the essence of form and the poetics linked to the metropolitan reality with the use of tar, which coexists and merges with the signs and symbols it uses. In his works his historical reference to Abstract Essence is evident.
