During this open studio, Liam Santoleri will show a short video regarding his ongoing artistic project, focused on the hike to reach, analyze, and reproduce an erratic boulder, dragged down by an ancient massive glacier, today extinct. The open studio will take place outdoors, right in front of his tiny studio at Via Castelfidardo 50 in Rome. This opportunity is intended to allow for a direct talk with the artist (ususally very shy), and to listen the tale of his artistic research, the techniques used, the landscape exploration, and what he brings back to the studio after each walk. During the short video, played on a loop for two hours, visitors will be able to talk with the artist drinking a glass of good wine (or non-alcoholic juice) and a piece of bread with a drop of olive oil, everything inspired by simplicity and essentiality. We look forward to seeing many of you.
