Nina's Garden reopens to host the Fuori Luogo exhibition, an event by the Monte Mario Artists' Collective. This year, the event will explore the theme of inclusivity, viewed and considered from various perspectives: physical, mental, and intellectual, political, social, and even the most intimate and personal level of recognition and self-determination of one's own identity.
Who decides what is "outside" and what is "inside"? And how much does the external environment shape a person's perception of being an active and recognized participant? From bullying to accessibility issues, from migration-related issues (residence permits, CPRs, etc.) to the more personal issues of self-perception. Am I out because I choose to be or because I'm not welcomed?
The artists of the Monte Mario Artists' Collective will explore these themes, presenting them from different perspectives and using a variety of techniques.
