From October 24 to 30, 2025, Rome will host Monika Hartl’s solo exhibition “METAMORPHOSE – Everything in Exchange?”. The show investigates metamorphosis as a constant condition of existence and the world, through works that combine painting, material stratifications, and photography. Hartl transforms faces, forms, and colors into metaphors of change, offering viewers the perception of an uninterrupted flow of life, evolution, and rebirth. In an ideal dialogue with Alberto Giacometti’s research, the artist reveals how every image is a fragment of transformation, never complete, but part of an evolutionary continuum that involves the individual, society, and nature alike. The exhibition thus becomes an invitation to recognize the beauty and strength of metamorphosis, and to engage with eyes and soul in a universe in constant change.
