To mark the 25th anniversary of Officine Fotografiche, we are proud to present Persona, a major solo exhibition by Paolo Pellegrin, one of the leading masters of contemporary photography.
Curated by Annalisa D’Angelo, the exhibition offers an unprecedented glimpse into a more intimate and lesser-known side of Pellegrin’s work: portraiture as a tool for exploration, connection, and memory.
Persona also reflects on the complex relationship between image and power. From the unsettling portrait of Donald Trump—captured through a screen during his inauguration ceremony—to the broken gate revealing a glimpse of Gaza’s past, and more recent works addressing themes of surveillance, the exhibition invites viewers to question how images shape our perception of reality.
The project is promoted by Roma Capitale – Department of Culture and is among the winners of the public call Roma Creativa 365. Culture All Year Round, in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Cultura.
