Happy Hues - how colours influence our life

Talk with Ms. Alessandra Francesca Borzacchini, interior designer, about colors and their power of influencing our moods and emotions, retaking them into the secluded spaces of home

We spend most of our time indoors in our homes, schools and offices. Definitely the most of our lifetime, hence losing our connection as biological beings with the natural environment.

A number of renowned international studies in neuroscience and psychology link these habits to the increase in psychophysical discomfort in the urbanized population, up to the onset of real pathologies.

Such studies recommend that we should spend at least 2 hours a day in a natural outdoor environment, but this is not yet compatible with our lifestyle and the hectic rhythm of its productiveness. Still in the same research field about the influence of the environment on the psychophysical well-being of individuals, emphasis is placed on some elements that should never be overlooked in our built spaces.

The conversation with Alessandra Francesca Borzacchini, interior designer and founder of SBA, focuses on the importance of creating a sort of "domestic landscape" rich in sensorial stimuli, in which works of art find a place of importance, how a careful interior design can prevent such psychophysical discomforts and how some new tools in the designer's possession, such as Ambient Therapy © and the RAH Color Test©, can help the process successfully.
